• 丹·阿赫里耶夫 Daud Akhriev

  Born in the former Soviet Union, he studied classical painting and drawing for 14 years. He graduated with excellent grades from the Graduate School of the Repin Institute of Arts in Russia, earning a Master of Fine Arts degree, and worked under the guidance of Piotr Fomin, a late academic school painter. In 1991, he moved to Chattanooga, Tennessee. Now a U.S. citizen, he has long been committed to creating large-scale thematic commemorative oil paintings, and later gradually became an outstanding educator and an artist beloved by the people.

  油画家，壁画家，1974年出生于白俄罗斯共和国宾斯克市，1989-1993年在白俄罗斯艺术院直属的明斯克艺术学院学习，1994-2006年在宾斯克市艺术中学任教。2006年考入俄罗斯列宾美术学院列宾工作室，在学习期间多作品多次获得赞扬，以优异的成绩完成专业学习，并且被授予毕业生命题创作金质奖章的荣誉。毕业后执教于俄罗斯圣彼得堡艺术中学，她的学生也在各类国际及区域竞赛中获奖。
  
  She is an oil painter and muralist. Born in Pinsk, the Republic of Belarus in 1974, she studied at Minsk Art College affiliated to the Belarusian Academy of Arts from 1989 to 1993, and taught at Pinsk Art High School from 1994 to 2006. In 2006, she was admitted to the Repin Studio of the Repin Institute of Fine Arts in Russia. During her studies, many of her works were highly praised; she completed her professional studies with excellent grades and was awarded the Gold Medal for Graduation Thesis Creation. After graduation, she taught at St. Petersburg Art High School in Russia, and her students have also won awards in various international and regional competitions.

  生于湖南长沙，是80年代末90年代初湖南“新形象”艺术运动的代表人物，1999年赴美国学习工作，现工作生活于北京。作品被《中国现代美术全集-素描卷》、《中国当代艺术史1990-1999》（吕澎著）、《中国当代美术1979-1999·油画》（范迪安编）、《20世纪中国艺术史》（吕澎著）等艺术史文献记载，作品多次在中外艺术机构及艺术博览会展出，被国内外公共机构及私人收藏。
  
  
  
  Born in Changsha, Hunan Province, he is a representative figure of the Hunan "New Image" art movement in the late 1980s and early 1990s. He went to the United States to study and work in 1999, and currently works and lives in Beijing.
