陈雷 Chen Lei

生于湖南长沙，是80年代末90年代初湖南“新形象”艺术运动的代表人物，1999年赴美国学习工作，现工作生活于北京。作品被《中国现代美术全集-素描卷》、《中国当代艺术史1990-1999》（吕澎著）、《中国当代美术1979-1999·油画》（范迪安编）、《20世纪中国艺术史》（吕澎著）等艺术史文献记载，作品多次在中外艺术机构及艺术博览会展出，被国内外公共机构及私人收藏。



Born in Changsha, Hunan Province, he is a representative figure of the Hunan "New Image" art movement in the late 1980s and early 1990s. He went to the United States to study and work in 1999, and currently works and lives in Beijing. His works have been exhibited in numerous art institutions and art fairs at home and abroad, and are collected by public institutions and private collectors both domestically and internationally.
