高以宁

生于 1992 年，工作和生活于北京永定河畔。

2015 年毕业于北京服装学院服装设计专业，师从雕塑家曹长旭先生和陶艺家李金玲女士。

2014 年赴法国参加中法建交 50 周年艺术交流活动并现场展示艺术创作。

创作说明

作品采用手捏盘泥条工艺，以宜兴陶泥高温烧制而成，属于陶瓷艺术品。它既可独立成景，也可作为花器搭配插花陈设，寓意谦卑可承载。作品是艺术家的成长记录，一本立体的日记。在与泥土相处的数年里，艺术家格外重视内在精神的成长：心的境界有多高，作品的境界便有多高。艺术家在创作中认识自我，审视自身的自私、自卑与傲慢、封闭与对立，也看见自己的勇敢、坚韧、敞开与包容。希望这份打破固有桎梏、向内敞开的力量，能够传递给每一位观者。

Gao Yining

Born in 1992, lives and works by the Yongding River in Beijing. 

Graduated from Fashion Design Department of Beijing Institute of Fashion Technology in 2015. Studied under sculptor Cao Changxu and ceramic artist Li Jinling. 

In 2014, she travelled to France for the Sino‑French 50th Anniversary Art Exchange Event and presented live art creation.

Artist Statement

This ceramic artwork is hand‑built with coiled Yixing clay and fired at high temperature. It stands as an independent piece, and can also serve as a vase for flower arrangement, symbolizing humility and capacity to hold. The work functions as the artist’s growth record, a three‑dimensional diary. Over years of working with clay, the artist attaches great importance to inner spiritual growth: the stature of the work follows the stature of one’s inner self. Through creation, she learns to know and examine herself — her selfishness, inferiority‑superiority complex, seclusion and confrontation, as well as her bravery, fortitude, openness and tolerance. She hopes this power of opening‑up and breaking ingrained patterns can be conveyed to every viewer.
