The “Steel Home Still” Urban Regeneration Achievement Exhibition captures the precious fragments of modernization, using diverse artistic means to present the stories and human warmth embedded in industrial architecture. It invites visitors to experience the spirit of the times and pays tribute to every worker.
Curatorial Approach: The project coordinated a multi-national team from China and Italy, managing the entire process of cross-border transport, customs clearance, and installation. The exhibition concept draws from the European Renaissance tradition of cabinets of curiosities, employing immersive theater methods to install a series of montage spatial installations within a church, recreating distinct thematic spaces.
Outcome: The Venice edition was held during the Venice Biennale, attracting over 500,000 visitors. It was featured on the front page of People’s Daily and recognized by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism as a “Model Case of Cultural and Tourism Integration.” The exhibition contributed to the transformation of the Shougang site into a national-level cultural tourism landmark.

策展特点：统筹中、意、两国多角色团队，完成跨国运输、清关、布展全流程。展览概念沿袭了欧洲文艺复兴以来的cabinets ofcuriosities传统，以侵入式戏剧的方式在教堂中置入-系列蒙太奇空间装置，再现了不同的主题性空间。
