Sunday in Treeland萃岛星期天

陈雷 1969 年生于湖南长沙，为 80 年代末 90 年代初湖南 “新形象” 艺术运动代表人物，1999 年赴美学习工作，现居北京。他致力于中国现当代艺术的实践与推广，充分调动感知力挖掘潜意识视觉记忆，将沉淀的生活体验转化为超自然意识流场景，重构符号与形象的原始语境。其作品被多部权威艺术史文献收录，多次于国内外机构与艺博会展出，并被公共机构及私人收藏。

Chen Lei was born in Changsha, Hunan in 1969. A key figure of Hunan’s "New Image" art movement, he went to the US for study and work in 1999 and now lives in Beijing. Committed to Chinese modern‑contemporary art, he taps into subconscious visual memories, translating life experiences into surreal stream‑of‑consciousness scenes and reinterpreting original symbols.
